Comms Cabinet Shutdown and Power-up Sequence

 

SHUTDOWN

  1. TP Link WAP (on top of cabinet) - Press power button on WAP. [UPS: Surge Only)

  2. IP CORTEX - Press power button on box. [UPS: Battery + Surge)

  3. Switch-Layer 3 (HP 2620-24) - Remove plug from UPS [UPS: Surge Only}

  4. Aruba POE-UTS (Instant On 1960) - Remove plug from UPS. [UPS: Battery + Surge]

  5. SonicWall (Box at bottom of cabinet) - Remove plug from UPS. [UPS: Battery + Surge]

  6. Cisco 4321 (BT Leased Line) - Power switch on front of box. [UPS: Battery + Surge]

  7. ADVA (BT Leased Line - Remove both plugs from UPS. [UPS: Battery + Surge]

 

POWER-UP

  1. UPS - Press power button on UPS (and put cable in wall socket if removed).

  2. ADVA (BT Leased Line) - Plug both plugs into UPS. [Both PSU LED's should come on and also possibly the STA LED. The two access+ network LED's will come on when the Cisco box is on. Maybe wait a bit to see fi the STA LED comes on.]

  3. Cisco 4321 (BT Leased Line) - Switch on power switch on front of box. [WAIT: this one takes a while and may affect the LED's on the ADVA box.]

    LED's when fully up;

      - Console EN:  Solid Green
      - GE 0/0/1 S:  Flashes
      - GE 0/0/1 L:  Solid

    (to the right of the fibre optic type cable) EN:  Solid
    (to the right of the fibre optic type cable) S:  Flashes

    (I have pictures and video on my phone of the various LED states on relevant boxes.)

  4. SonicWall (Box at bottom of cabinet) - Plug in plug in UPS.

  5. Aruba POE-UTS (Instant On 1960) - Plug in plug in UPS.

  6. Switch-Layer 3 (HP 2620-24) - Plug in plug in UPS.

  7. IP Cortex - Press power button on box.

  8. TP Link WAP (on top of cabinet) - Press power button on WAP.
